We are excited to share the news that Terry Haywood, our Subaru Brand Manager at Southern Automobiles, recently embarked on a journey to introduce Subaru’s highly anticipated Crosstrek in the northern region. Terry had the opportunity to thoroughly test this stylish and compact SUV, immersing in the thrill of Subaru’s renowned All-Wheel Drive system.
The Subaru Crosstrek is now available for purchase and test drives at Southern Automobiles Invercargill. This reimagined and adventurous version of the Subaru XV is offered in three variants, including one petrol model and two hybrid models.
As previously revealed, the all-new Subaru Crosstrek petrol variant features a sporty yet refined direct injection 2.0-liter Boxer engine. It is paired with a Lineartronic transmission, which includes an 8-speed paddle shift manual mode. Additionally, the two hybrid variants showcase the Subaru e-Boxer engine and a Lineartronic transmission equipped with a 7-speed paddle shift manual mode.
